My Peony Journal, Ballpoint drawing art

My ballpoint drawings started a few years ago, some more complex drawings, some simpler. But every drawing tells a story. From the stories of princes and princesses we knew what it's like to have your own place, full of peonies, but this story in this drawing with peonies started in the year 2022 in the month of May.

This palace I moved into had a story but I didn't know it, but I told myself that everyone has their own story in their own castle, so I created this story myself. I started lightly with the inspection of the place, then decided that the most suitable flowers were peonies for this beginning. When they started to bloom, I was so fascinated that I understood that drawing in pen would put my creativity and patience to high altitudes.
The creativity was through the texture through which I presented the shadows, and the patience through the fact that the tip of the pen must always be wiped, so as not to leave traces on unwanted surfaces. Romantic and opulent, I simply love smelling their sweetness as it transports me back to walks I've taken through the beautiful English countryside.
Their smell makes me remember every detail. I call this drawing "My Peony Journal" every step has made me love peonies even more. This year the temperature outside was lower, at the moment they didn't bloom, but I spotted a bud, waiting for the sun and me to create another story/drawing with these wonderful flowers.
